Furniture search engine, news and misinformation analysis, auction portal, sauna world and now also a website monitoring service. These are currently the five pillars on which the domestic investment group Pale Fire Capital, led by Jan Barta, Dušan Šenkypl and David Holý, is building. They established the last mentioned pillar thanks to the purchase of the UptimeRobot.com service.

Jan Barta informed about Pale Fire Capital’s latest investment on his personal blog, stating that it is a joint business with the Slovak software company Itrinity. In a transaction worth hundreds of millions of crowns, they jointly bought one of the largest global website monitoring services, UptimeRobot.com.
