Investment group Pale Fire Capital has increased its stake in the JenPráce.cz project to 80%. The portal’s visitor traffic grew by 140% year-on-year in Q1 (2021/2022). The growth was also due to the fact that the founders and investors managed to build a strong structure with a completely new management.

With the portal’s traffic well over 1 million monthly and almost 900 thousand Facebook users (JenPráce and associated Práce a brigády), the project ranks among the 3 largest job portals in the Czech Republic. In the first quarter of this year, over 30 thousand jobs were offered to applicants on the portal, with an average of over 200 applicants looking at each one. With an average of more than 10 applicants, and even several hundred applicants for the most attractive positions, JenPráce.cz ranks among the absolute top in terms of effectiveness of personnel marketing.

“Since the beginning, our company’s goal has been to provide companies with a convenient, high quality service. We create targeted campaigns for our clients and, thanks to our own clever algorithm, find the best ways to reach the right candidates while keeping costs reasonable. Not only do we help companies fill vacancies to ensure their companies run smoothly, we also aim to help job seekers in a difficult employment situation. We are the most popular job portal on Facebook,” adds Anna Kevorkyan, the new CEO of JenPráce.cz.

“What attracted us to the JenPráce.cz portal is the unique combination of classic personnel advertising with active marketing of positions on social networks. On the one hand, JenPráce.cz brings the first real performance-based HR marketing solution, on the other hand, it can precisely target candidates with an offer that is attractive to them. The project’s viability is evidenced by more than a million visitors per month and the absolute largest audience on social media. In conjunction with the new experienced management, we are ready to stir up the “still waters” of classical personal marketing,” said Dušan Šenkypl, partner at Pale Fire Capital.

JenPráce.cz, launched by Coweo Technologies in 2013, has grown to become the number two portal on the Czech market. At first it offered only free advertising, but with growing interest and thanks to cooperation with investors from PFC, it launched paid advertising in 2017. The positions on offer are divided into 26 basic fields. The portal is performing particularly strongly with the highest number of exposed positions in the segments Handcraft and manual work, Engineering and automotive and Transport, logistics and supply. The most popular sectors for applicants are Marketing, Advertising, Media and PR, Transport, Logistics and Supply and Services, Arts and Culture. In response to the refugee wave, the portal has enabled recruiters to flag advertisements for suitable positions for citizens from Ukraine and these can now be easily filtered. More attractive features are in progress.

The clear and user-friendly JenPráce.cz website makes it easy and intuitive to post job ads. It also allows integration with third-party recruitment applications. Clients include e.g. recruitment agencies such as ManpowerGroup, Grafton Recruitment or Randstad HR Solution, as well as Skanska, the Ministry of the Interior, ČSOB Pojišt’ovna, Česká pošta and many others. JenPráce.cz is growing and looking for new colleagues to join its ranks – list of positions here.
